In early 2022 – the Honourable High Court of Gujarat gave their final verdict for the closure of factories in Ahmedabad not to allow the
discharge of treated effluent in the Sewage Line of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to the final STP plant.

Shree Prakash Textiles one of the oldest mills decided to continue to serve the industry in Ahmedabad and was looking at a well designed sustainable system for ensuring its ZLD goals in the long run. In March, the WaterNext team visited the existing site to find space for a FULL Biological system and together with the client we identified a compact piece of land between two buildings. It was due to the good engineering design by WaterNext and the efficient civil works carried out by the client followed by the war footing installation and commissioning done by both the teams that in record time of 7 months the plant was constructed, installed, commissioned and handed over.
